Scanner are used to enter information directly n to the computers memory. This devices works like a Xerox machine. The Scanner converts any types of printed or written information including photograph into digital pulse, which can be manipulated by the computer...!
Track ball is similar to the upside- down design of the mouse. The user moves the ball directly, while the device itself remains stationary. the user spins the ball in various directions to effect the screen movements...!
Joystick is a kind of input devices what is used to give an input to the computer system. That is mostly used in Game application. as its name implies a stick to lay a game that will let you feel joy. In this your use your thumb to press buttons of joysticks handling the sticks of the input device . There is a spherical ball in a socket at the bottom....!
this is an input device which is used to draw lines or figures on a computer screen. It's touched to the CRT screen where it can detect raster on the screen as it passes....!

MICR ( Magnetic Ink Character Reader / Recognizer)......................!
It is kind of input device which is used which is used to read magnetic charecters from a page like on a bank cheque some magnetic charecters are used which can only be read by MICR....!
Other Output Device ...............
Other Devices give result either in hard or soft from. The Devices which are used to displayed the data to the user either in the form of hard copy or soft copy or soft copy are called output devices.. The example of output devices are screen/Monitor, Printer, Plotter, Projectors, Speaker, Headphone.

A Printer is an Output Devices that printers text document, images, Spread sheet etc. as hard copy Printer's quality is measured in dot per inch (DPI)....!
Impact Printers...!
This type of printers strike against the ink ribbon and make impression on the paper. There is a metallic or plastic head having pins(nine pin or 24 pin head in dot matrix) or symbol and characters (in daisy wheel printers). These printers are noisy, slow, cheap, and poor, quality Output....!
Dot Matrix.........
A dot matrix printer creator characters by striking pins against ink ribbon. Each pin makes a dot and combination of dots from characters and illustration. This is much like a typewriter. Each character is made from a matrix of dots. Today, dot matrix printers are not used by many people anymore. They are still in use where forms (with multiple copies) need to be filled out....!

Speaker are also kind of output devices which is used to play a sound as output. It is used in multimedia applications to play or Listen to sound or music.....!
